Dinner Tonight - Grilled chicken over Sesame Noodles

For dinner tonight I am making Grilled Chicken Over Sesame Noodles. It is a quick easy dish that's always a big hit. Enjoy!



Sesame Noodles:
1 lb spaghetti - cooked and drained according to directions
Add to it:
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup sesame oil
1/3 cup sugar
3 scallions - thinly sliced
1/4 cup sesame seeds

Chicken:
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp ginger
4-5 chicken breast

marinate chicken in all ingredients for 2-3 hours. Grill (indoors our out) or saute or broil until cooked through.

Dinner Tonight - Chicken Pot Pie

For dinner tonight I am making Chicken Pot Pie. Its a hearty meal for a stormy night. Hope you are all safe and well. Enjoy!

6 Tbsp. margarine
1 medium onion, diced
1 potato, diced
1/2 cup thinly sliced, carrots
6 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 cups chicken stock
2 cups diced boneless, skinless chicken (dice it raw)
2 pie crusts

In 2-quart saucepan, heat margarine until it melts, add onion, potato, and carrots and saute until tender. Sting in flour, salt, and pepper and mix quickly and well. Over medium heat, gradually stir in chicken stock, stirring constantly to made a thick, creamy sauce. Add chicken and peas. Pour entire mixture into a 2-quart casserole or into bottom pie crust.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place (other) crust over the mixture, piercing with forks near the center. Bake for 40 minutes, or until crust is browned.

Dinner Tonight - Pistachio Crusted Tilapia

For dinner tonight I am making Pistachio Crusted Tilapia. It calls for shelled pistachio and I was too cheap to buy them ($15 vs. $6!!!) so it became a family project to take them out of the shell. I don't have exact measurements but I will give you an idea of how I made it. Enjoy





Tilapia
pistachios
cumin
turmeric
salt
pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
yellow mustard

in food processor process nuts with spices until crumbs form. Smear mustard on fish and bread with nut mixture. Fry in a small amount of oil until golden on each side.

Dinner Tonight - Franks and Potatoes

I know I have done this one before but my kids requested it so here goes... For dinner tonight I am making a meal with not a lot of prep work so you won't be stuck in the kitchen too long. I am making franks and potatoes. It's a one pot meal so all you have to do is add a salad or veggie and you are good to go. Enjoy!!!



Ingredients
-
8 hot dogs
-
1 onion
-
5 potatoes
-
salt
-
pepper
-
paprika

Instructions
Sautee onions. slice hot dogs into small pcs. and add to onions for 2 minutes.
Sprinkle with salt,pepper and parika. Slice potatoes into cubes and place in pot with hot dogs.
pour enough water to cover everything.
Cook for 30 - 45 minutes - until everything is cooked through.

Dinner Tonight - Lahamagine

For dinner tonight I am making Lahamagine (or as my kids call them, MEAT PIZZAS!!!) This is a very easy dish that appeals to kids and adults alike. Enjoy!


1 pack mini dough (24 pcs)
1 lb ground beef
1 onion grated
2 tbs lemon juice
1/3 cup prune butter
1 tbs. tom paste
salt to taste

Mix beef, onion juice, butter, paste and salt to combine. Spread a thin layer of meat mixture on each circle to cover dough. Press topping firmly into dough. Bake for aprox 25 minutes or until dough is light brown.

Dinner Tonight - Penne With Lemon Cream Sauce

For Dinner tonight I am making Penned with Lemon Cream sauce. I'm sorry I don't have a picture but it is a delicious dish. Enjoy!

3 tbs butter
1 clove garlic -crushed
2 tbs lemon juice
1 1/4 cups heavy cream
3 tbs parmesean cheese
1 1/4 tsp basil
1/2 lb penne pasta - cooked and drained
salt and pepper

Melt butter and add in garlic, saute for a few minutes making sure not to burn. Add lemon juice and stir. Add heavy cream and simmer for 5 minutes. add the cheese and stir until melted. season with basil. Add into pasta and toss. Season with salt and pepper.

Dinner Tonight - Southwest Style Rotisserie Chicken Wraps

For dinner tonight I am making Southwestern Style Rotisserie Chicken Wraps. It's a quick, easy way to use up leftover chicken. ENJOY!!!!



1 Rotisserie chicken/ shredded
1 can black beans/ drained and rinsed
1 can corn/ drained
1/2 red onion/ diced
1 tomato/ diced
1/2 cup B.B.Q. sauce (yum)
2 tbsp mayonnaise
2 tbsp parve sour cream
Salt and pepper

 Combine 1st 5 ingredients in bowl. In 2nd bowl, combine last 4 ingredients. Mix together with chicken. Serve in flour tortillas with lettuce ( if desired).

Dinner Tonight - Sweet Garlic Salmon

For dinner tonight I am making Sweet Garlic Salmon over sesame noodles. It is a light dish after all of the heavy yom tov food. Enjoy!



1 lb salmon skinned
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbs brown sugar
 6 cloves garlic - minced
2 tsp soy sauce

Combine all sauce ing's together and let salmon marinate for at least 30 min in fridge. bake on 350 for 20 minutes covered and 20 mins uncovered
